Two artists on the Lizard Peninsular in Cornwall had been looking for a garden studio for three years. Invited to study a solution Sebastian Blakeley came up with this idea. Amalgamating their needs for an efficient storage space, drawing studio, and need for something pleasing to the eye that sat happily in this corner of their garden. Constructed using European 1/4 sawn douglas and European chestnut with a sweeping plywood roof clad in EPDM membrane. The exterior decking enabled the building to interact and connect with its' surroundings.
